Not specific or clearly defined in one or more areas
Bias is evident
Does not verify that the results are valid and/or reliable
Correlations, causation, and/or other interpretations of the results are unfounded

Above is an example of "bad research" - I haven't run into any yet using EBSCO, so I went back to a webpage I use with my students when we talk about not believing everything we read on the website. (It isn't exactly "research" but the quickest example I could pull. I also was thinking of the infant formula article we read at the beginning of class.)
